FPC's Sesquicentennial Celebration

  • First Presbyterian Church 230 W. Rusk Tyler (map)

FPC will be celebrating its sesquicentennial on April 5, 2020. Plans are underway for a church-wide celebration. During the next several months, we will be sharing information on how you can help.

Lets Get Cooking!

A Taste of Heaven is coming soon. It will be a wonderful new cookbook celebrating 150 years of FPC. We need fabulous recipes from you, your family, and friends. Please submit your favorites as soon as possible to FPC Cookbook. If you are interested in working on the cookbook, sending a recipe, or need more information, contact a member of the Cookbook Committee - Karen Novy, Fran Cooper, Debbie Jones, Luci Morgan, Janet Burks, Sharon Bragg, and Beth Shepperd.

For information, contact the church office at 903-597-6317.

Cookbook Brunch

A Taste of Heaven Cookbook Brunch is coming July 14 following the 10 a.m. service. Each dish presented is an opportunity to taste a recipe that will be featured in the upcoming 150 year anniversary cookbook, A Taste of Heaven. There is no charge, but donations for publishing costs will be gratefully accepted at the brunch. If you wish to contribute a dish for the brunch, contact Fran Cooper (903-253-5459).
