This year, our training time for teachers and leaders of Christian Education will start as a large group with a devotion and opening session about discovering the wonder of God’s word. We will look at the wonder of scripture through children’s eyes and from an adult perspective. Dr. Stuart Baskin will give us a brief update (including the good news!) about the Connections and Newcomers programs that we discussed in detail last year.
Following a short break, we will split into groups according to our areas of responsibility. In those sessions, the directors of adult, student, children’s ministries and deacons will lead our time.
We will conclude before lunch, at 12:30 p.m.
