Music Ministry Opportunities for Adults
Chancel Choir Rehearsal
Wednesday 7 – 9 p.m.
Music Suite – Main Rehearsal Hall
The Chancel Choir is an adult choral ensemble comprised of talented volunteers of varying skill levels, and choral scholars from the University of Texas at Tyler and Tyler Junior College. This friendly group of musicians prepare a wide variety of choral music drawn from nearly 900 years of western sacred music tradition. We prepare everything from Gregorian Chant to modern compositions by living composers, with an emphasis on literature that enhances the liturgy of the Reformed tradition. This ensemble assists in leading worship most Sundays of the year at the 11:00 a.m. worship service in the sanctuary.
