We're dedicated to providing a nurturing, faith-based environment for our little ones to grow up and learn about God.
8:15 am–12:15 pm
Each Sunday morning is structured with songs, storytelling, and activities reinforcing the scriptures’ greatest lesson: God loves us. And throughout each month, special events connect kids with music, mission, and fun. Scroll down to find a list of upcoming events!
- Children's Worship
The nursery is open every Sunday morning from 8:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. for our wee ones (infants–age 2), and is staffed with experienced childcare professionals. Accommodations include cribs and changing tables, rocking chairs, and toddler-appropriate games. The nursery is also open during special worship services throughout the year.
Each week, kids gather at 9:40 a.m. for a special music time featuring energetic praise songs accompanied by triangles, maracas, and tambourines. The children learn familiar hymns and songs used in worship, as well as sung responses to prayer. After music, children split off into their age-appropriate classes for hands-on learning through lectionary-based curricula designed to introduce scripture and the building blocks of faith.

- The Rock (1st–5th grades)
Children’s Worship gives kids (age 3–grade 2) their own special worship space during the 11 a.m. service each Sunday. Children begin worship with their families in the Sanctuary, then are dismissed to the Children’s Wing just before the Ministry of the Word.
Children’s Worship allows kids to explore the rhythms of the liturgical worship service, but with prayers and a message tailored specifically to them. Our intention is to help children understand how we give praise and thanks to God during worship, as well as to give an introduction to the worship traditions we embrace as Christians and Presbyterians.
The children’s choirs are designed to teach children the joy of worshiping through music, as well as basic musical skills. They perform during worship on several occasions throughout the year. Learn more about the Carol Choir and Kirk Ringers.
Teaching children about God’s love can be one of the most rewarding ways to serve the Lord and strengthen the church. All you need is a healthy dose of patience, love for children, and a desire to lead them on their journey of faith. If you’d like to get involved or learn more about the ministry, please email Phyllis Kidwell and you'll be on your way!
